Great stay with my two kids (10 and 4). Beautiful place with classy and elegant decor. The bathroom was amazing; great bath tub and shower pressure was top notch. The small day bed/chaise was perfect for my 4-year old. We all slept great and was very comfortable. Raymond (the host) left clear instructions and was very responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

What an amazing and fortuitous find. The Palm House is a tropical paradise in the heart of the Forest of Dean. The hosts, Neil and Raymond were incredibly welcoming and our pampered pooch was spoilt with doggie snacks on arrival. The bedrooms were immaculate and had big comfy beds and crisp linen, it really felt more like a 5 star hotel. Will definitely book again and visit for longer next time . Thank you

Woofield House has been extensively refurbished by Neil and Raymond. The attention to detail in the Apartments is exceptional I was lucky to be shown around all 3 Apartments as I wanted to book them for some wedding guests as my daughter was getting married at Newland church. Raymond was very easy to communicate with as there were a couple of changeovers during our rental and even reunited a couple of the guests with their left belongings!! All feed back from the guests was very positive and they welcomed the extras goodies that were in the rooms. Each unit is individual with beautiful bed linen and wonderful fabrics and adornments Raymond and Neil have worked very hard to produce a wonderful place to relax and unwind in the tranquil village of Newland. Nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend.

We spent a wonderful 3 nights in Cathedral View in October. The comfort, interior design, and surroundings are stunning and peaceful. Raymond welcomed us when we arrived and arranged a spot in the garage for our bikes. The apartment was impeccable and so well equipped with extra touches which made all the difference, like the beers and Prosecco in the fridge and a selection of high-quality snacks to keep our blood sugar up before dinner! The apartment has its own parking space in the grounds, right outside the front door. We were on a cycling trip using the prepared trails at Canop. We cycled there from Newland but next time we would take the car because the hills are insane and it was too tiring on top of our time on the trails (Our bikes are not electric!). Raymond had given us recommendations for eating out so we could book in advance, and we really enjoyed the Ostrich (5 mins walk) and the Tudor Farmhouse (5 mins drive). Don't hesitate to stay in this idyllic spot!

Cathedral View is a stunning property. My husband and I couldn’t fault it. The property had everything we needed for a break away. Neil and Raymond were helpful and responsive The location is peaceful and relaxing, with great local walking and fabulous local pubs/places to eat.

We have a fabulous two nights in this apartment. It was spotless, beautifully presented, decorated tastefully and we felt tight at home! Has everything you need for a short break. Loved the outdoor seating area too. Even offered extra wood for the fire. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Neil’s apartment for a weekend on a last minute and couldn’t have asked for a better place as it’s perfect for a quiet stay and Is full of everything you’d need, the apartment is very modern and the area very tranquil and picturesque perfect for long walks and would definitely recommend to everyone.

Absolutely wonderful holiday. Everything was perfect, beautifully presented and some really caring touches. Even the house rules words were carefully chosen . This apartment was absolutely stunning, superb design, spotlessly clean, great location, very quiet. Host quick to respond. Everything you could possibly need was provided.Car parking right outside and a terrace area to sit opposite the property, we had two lovely meals in the local pub, easy walk from property. ,Everything we needed and more. So quiet sat out on the terraced area. Entering property all very straight forward, parking excellent. We had two meals in the pub which is lovely to walk to. Such a stunning property and location.

Had such an amazing bank holiday weekend at Neil and Raymond’s place! The place was spotless and the hosts literally thought of everything! Communication was great! The decor inside is beautiful and location is great too - walking distance to a lovely church from the 1200’s and country food that does amazing food! Extra special and added touch was a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge on our arrival! 10/10 couldn’t rate it highly enough!!! Thanks so much!

We’ve stayed in a lot of places, and this was the epitome of AirBnB perfection. Great comms throughout, but privacy was respected whilst we were there. The apartment itself was even better than the listing led us to expect. Everything you could possibly need was provided, and not just hand-me-downs, but quality items. Peaceful, secluded, romantic, just the right amount of quirk and intrigue. Absolutely top drawer. Anyone else that runs an Airbnb: this is what you should be striving for. Loved it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Steeple View. The apartment has beautiful interior, with everything you need. Lovely surroundings and very peaceful. Thank you so much for our welcome hamper as well, it was a really kind gesture. We hope to come back one day. Thanks again!
